FAQs

How long does a spray tan last?

With proper prep and maintenance, 7-10 days. Deduct about two days for rapid solutions. You can prolong the life of your tan by adding Hydroboost.

When can I rinse after my appointment?

Standard solutions should process for 8 to 12 hours. Rapid Rinse solutions should process for 1 to 6 hours depending on desired depth of color.

What do I wear during my appointment?

Female clients can wear as much or as little as they’d like (full nudity is acceptable). Male clients must wear bottoms (underwear, swim shorts, etc.)

Does the solution stain my clothes/sheets?

Cosmetic bronzer from spray tan solution can transfer to clothes & sheets but typically does not stain. Finishing powder minimizes this transfer. Let’s Glow suggests you wear long, loose and dark clothing following your appointment.

Can I spray tan while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Please consult your physician before booking a spray tan appointment. Let’s Glow works with spray tan solutions made with non-toxic, food grade DHA (the active ingredient in spray tans) that is not known to have negative effects when applied externally.

What is the difference between a standard solution and a rapid rinse solution?

Standard solutions should be left on the skin for 8 to 12 hours before being rinsed, while rapid rinse solutions should be kept on the skin for 1-5 hours depending on your desired final result. The longer a rapid rinse is kept on, the darker your tan will be. Please keep in mind that rapid rinse tans do not develop faster than standard tans. The main difference between the two is that you can rinse a rapid off sooner than a standard.

How far in advance should I book my spray tan?

Appointments can be booked up to 90 days in advance, and our calendar opens up on a rolling basis. Please book online as far in advance as possible so we can secure your spot!

I have an event coming up… When should I get my spray tan?

2-3 days prior to an important event is ideal. However, if you’re going on vacation, try to book your appointment for the night before departure (and, ensure you can rinse before your departure).

Do I need to book a trial before getting my wedding tan?

YES. All brides should book a trial tan 2-3 weeks before the date of their wedding tan. Please look for our “The Bride Guide” series of posts on Instagram for all details related to wedding tans.
